The ZC-TYD2808 is a shallow, saucer-shaped garden luminaire \u2014 a crescent of LED lens on one side of the disc, a solar panel across the other. The shape lets it work in two ways: mounted on top of a 3 m to 5 m post as a decorative post-top garden light, or fixed to a tree, pergola or wall bracket where a conventional head would be too bulky. The die-cast aluminium body and PC lens keep it weather-tight at IP65.
With a 5V/38 W panel and a 3.2V/60000 mAh lithium battery it is the larger member of the family, which is why it is usually specified for hotel gardens, resort walkways, clubhouse squares and residential compounds rather than for small private plots. 150 LED chips give a broad, soft wash of light and the colour temperature is selectable from 3000 K to 6500 K.
The same luminaire is available in three build options: the solar post-top shown here, a 220 V mains version rated 80 W for sites that already have power on the post, and a pole-integrated version supplied as a complete unit with a 3 m, 4 m or 5 m post. Nothing is wired together on site \u2014 the standard fixing takes a 78 mm inside diameter spigot.
