The Solar Pole Street Light is the unit to specify when the poles are already in the ground. The head carries its own photovoltaic panel and LED module and clamps onto the existing pole, so a road can be re-lit without replacing any pole, without trenching and without a mains supply.

The manufacturer states that the photovoltaic panel reaches an efficiency of up to 24%, and that colour, size and wattage can all be customised — which is what makes the range usable on renovation work where the existing poles differ in diameter, height and spacing. The poles themselves are supplied in a range of colours.
