Where the Symmetrical double-arm fits
Two plain arms of equal length and height, on opposite sides, with no decorative shaping — the reference configuration for a double-arm street lighting pole. When a tender specifies "double arm, symmetrical" without a design, this is what it means.
Steel section as drawn, 6–12 m, Q235/Q235B/Q345, hot-dip galvanised with optional RAL. Because nothing is decorative, all the engineering budget goes into the steel: this pole is usually the strongest option per unit cost for a given reach, and the sensible baseline against which the shaped arms are priced.
- Two plain arms, equal height and length, opposite sides.
- The cost/strength baseline for double-arm poles.
- Confirm arm reach against the carriageway width before ordering.
