A single arm splits into a V brace before it reaches the luminaire, with a reach of about 1.5 m. The bifurcation is formed in the arm itself, so the two legs are set to the same length on the drawing.

Where the Bifurcated V single-arm fits
The arm splits into a V near the shaft and closes again at the luminaire — a single arm that looks like two. That split is structural as well as visual: the V braces the arm, so it holds a longer reach than a plain bent tube of the same weight.
It is the compromise between the plain crescent and the full truss — more reach than a simple arm, less visual clutter than exposed bracing. One arm, round conical shaft, 6–12 m. Where the reach has to be longer still, the trellis truss is the braced option.
- Single arm with V bracing; round conical pole.
- Useful where reach must grow without adding a second arm.
- Confirm the luminaire weight at the arm tip.
