A single gull-wing arc carries the luminaire with a reach of about 1.8 m, flattening towards the fixing. The flattening sets the angle at which the luminaire finishes, so agree that angle together with the projection.

Where the Gull Arc single-arm fits
A wide, shallow arc that rises from the shaft and levels off over the carriageway — the profile that gives a long horizontal run before the luminaire. The shape puts the head further from the pole than a crescent does, which is what a wide road needs from a single-sided installation.
One arm on a round conical shaft, 6–12 m, welded and drilled to order. It is the single-arm form to consider where the road is too wide for a crescent but a second arm is not wanted — the large arch is the heavier version of the same idea.
- Single shallow-arc arm; round conical section.
- Long horizontal reach — check the arm against the carriageway width on the drawing.
- Hot-dip galvanised; optional RAL coating.
