A street light is only as good as the pole it hangs on. Conical poles are cut, bent, welded and galvanised as a single unit, with the base plate, door, cable entry and lamp arm already fitted. Each pole is dimensioned to the luminaire it carries, so the arm height, the top diameter and the base plate all match the light you have chosen.
Standard poles run from 6 m to 12 m; other heights are produced to the project drawing. A square base plate is welded to the pole root and drilled for the anchor bolts, with the weld dressed and the whole assembly galvanised.
