100W Split Solar Street Light with Separate Panel

Panel and lamp head sized independently for the road · Higher power output and better heat dissipation than integrated units

100 W configuration · Series 30 W – 150 W · 120 LM/W · IP65 · Mounting height 5–15 m

Key features

  • Panel and lamp head sized independently for the road
  • Higher power output and better heat dissipation than integrated units

In a split system the solar panel and the LED lamp head are two separate units. The panel sits on top of the pole or on a dedicated bracket and is cabled down to a charge controller; the lamp head is mounted on the pole arm. Because the two parts are independent, panel area, battery capacity and light output can each be sized for the road instead of being fixed by a single housing.

The 100 W configuration is normally used on main roads and arterial routes with mounting heights of 8–10 m. Tell us your road width, pole height and required lighting hours and we will confirm the exact configuration for your project.

How to specify this configuration

A split system is quoted against four project inputs. The same 100 W lamp head can be paired with different panel and battery sizes depending on the road and the location, so the inputs decide the bill of materials rather than the wattage alone.

  • Road width and the number of lanes to be lit
  • Mounting height, pole spacing, or the poles already on site
  • Lighting hours per night, and whether dimming or motion sensing is required
  • Project location, and the number of consecutive cloudy days the battery has to cover
