The luminaire rides on one scroll-curled conch arm on a round tapered pole, with a reach of about 1.5 m from the pole axis to the fixing. Reach is measured to the fixing, so check it against the distance you want between the pole position and the lit carriageway.

Where the Conch single-arm fits

A conch-form bracket on one side of the shaft: the arm widens as it leaves the pole and curls back toward the luminaire, so the lamp sits close to the pole line rather than out over the road. It is a decorative street-furniture pole, not a highway bracket, and it is normally chosen to match an existing streetscape.

The pole section is built as drawn, 6–12 m, in Q235 to Q345, hot-dip galvanised with an optional RAL finish. Where the same form has to light both sides of a road, the Conch double-arm puts the same bracket on opposite sides.

  • Single conch-form arm; steel section per drawing.
  • Short visual reach — suited to footways, plazas and residential streets.
  • Approve the arm drawing before production; decorative forms are the slowest item to sign off.
