20 W – 60 W · 120 LM/W · IP65 · Mounting height 4–6 m
Key features
- Budget configurations for village and rural road programmes
- Separate panel allows the light to be fitted to existing poles
- Panel and lamp head are separate items, so each can be serviced or replaced on its own
Description
For rural roads and village lighting programmes the split arrangement is often the most cost-effective option: the panel and lamp head are supplied separately, so the light can be fitted to poles that are already on site, and the panel and battery can be sized to a tighter budget.
Typical configurations for this application run from 20 W to 60 W with 4–6 m mounting heights. Send us the road length and the number of units and we will quote a configuration that fits the programme budget.

Fitting to poles that are already on site
Splitting the panel from the lamp head is what makes this configuration suitable for village and rural programmes: the light can be fitted to existing poles and the panel and battery sized to the budget of the programme rather than to a fixed housing. Lighting is usually required for a lower number of hours on these roads, which is what keeps the panel and battery small.
What we need to quote
Send these together and the configuration can be confirmed in one pass:
- Road length and the number of units required
- Whether poles already exist on site, and their height
- Lighting hours per night, and whether dimming or motion sensing is required
- Project location, and the number of consecutive cloudy days the battery has to cover
