HC-RS-03 is a double-sided marker: six ultra-bright LEDs are set in opposite faces so the stud is read from both directions of travel rather than from one. It is supplied in a D129 × H50 mm body or a slightly larger D134 × H51.5 mm body.
A full charge gives about 200 hours of flashing at 120 flashes per minute or about 100 hours of steady light, from a monocrystalline 2.5V/200 mA or 4.5V/120 mA panel and a 1.2V/1200 mAh Ni-MH or 3.2V/1200 mAh LiFePO4 battery. The housing combines an anti-UV polycarbonate window with a die-cast aluminium alloy body and is rated IP68, with a published static compression figure of about 35 t.
