HC-RS-05 is the largest marker in the range: a D143 mm body, 47 mm high and 1015 g, with a monocrystalline panel rated 2.5V/250 mA or 4.5V/250 mA feeding a 1.2V/1500 mAh Ni-MH or 3.2V/1500 mAh LiFePO4 battery. Six ultra-bright LEDs are set into the body.
The larger cell and battery give about 200 hours of flashing at 120 flashes per minute or about 100 hours of steady light per full charge, and the published static compression figure is about 60 t — the highest in the family. The core is rated IP68 and is held by six stainless steel screws, so it can be lifted out and replaced without removing the body from the road.
