Solar Yellow Flashing Warning Light – HC-TS-04

HC-TS-04 is a solar-powered yellow flashing warning light for the places where a driver has to be told something before seeing it: the approach to a junction, a school entrance, a sharp bend, a level crossing, a bridge or any stretch where fog, rain or night driving makes the road furniture hard to read. It needs no mains connection and no trenching, so it can be put up on a temporary or permanent basis.

The light face is 300 mm across and carries 95 yellow LEDs at 10,000–12,000 mcd each, strobed at half a hertz — 30 flashes a minute — and the published visible distance is 1,000 m or more. The body is cold-rolled sheet metal with a metal hood over the lens, charged by an 18V/8W monocrystalline panel and an 11.1V/6.6AH lithium battery; the supplier rates the LED assembly at 100,000 hours or more and the operating range at −20 °C to +60 °C.
